the beach was nice and sandy, making it a perfect spot to relax, and i loved how close i was to major attractions like the historic city walls and parks that are all within a pleasant walk, allowing for effortless exploration each day of my stay.

In my kids’ opinion, the noise from the nearby beach bar was distracting during bedtime. A quieter area for families would improve the experience significantly.

I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and well-decorated common areas that were perfect for relaxing. The attentive staff ensured my comfort and made my experience delightful. The beautiful beachfront view added a serene touch to my stay.

More variety in breakfast options would be nice.

The beach setup is great, with plenty of sunbeds and delicious food options like udon soups. However, using personal transportation led to a frustrating arrival as we couldn't access the dock, leaving our belongings wet. Service lacked coordination, leading to mixed-up orders and confusion among a large group. While the rooms were comfy, important features were not mentioned upon check-in, which detracted from the overall experience.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay in a Bungalow! The atmosphere was just perfect, with cozy decor, and I loved the breakfast that featured delicious pastries and fresh fruit. The relaxing beach vibes were just what we needed after our hectic week. Can't wait to come back!

The Superior Double Room was decent but nothing too special. The bed was comfy, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in that heat. However, the room only had a cold shower, which was fine since it was super hot, but still, it would’ve been nice to have hot water. Overall, it felt a little basic for a resort, but it did the job.

great energy but some cleanliness issues

We met amazing staff who made our time enjoyable. The cocktails by the beach were delightful and refreshing.

Fenix Beach offers a unique experience, with spacious accommodations and beautiful surroundings. While the food was tasty and staff friendly, attention to cleanliness could be improved, especially regarding the pool and beach. The water was not very inviting, and the noise from other guests disturbed the ambience at times.

Not great for friends looking to party

One night, we ordered some food and the staff was working their butts off but man! the chaos! A mix-up on the orders left our ceviches sitting for 30 minutes until we figured out—my buddies at the beach had ordered them! Crazy, right?

It wasn't cheap, but I expected better service for the price.

we absolutely loved our stay at fenix beach cartagena! the service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. we enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool and the atmosphere was just amazing, especially with sweet dogs around. the location was great, with chickens and ducks sleeping outside our bungalow and a peacock under our balcony.
